Black Lives Matter
Black Lives Matter.
My sister and I founded Kalvera with the mission of non-toxic, effective skincare. More importantly, our vision as founders of color is to leverage our company’s growth to create opportunities for all BIPOC, women, and LGBTQ+.
We all need to take action to protect and advocate for Black communities, which are by far the most oppressed by systemic racism. All POC have benefited from Black activism, but it has largely been left to the Black communities to advocate for themselves and all POC. It is long past time for all of us to dedicate real effort and action to ending systemic racism in this country.
If you have a company (large or small), we invite you to join us in donating any percentage of your profits towards eliminating systemic racism and police brutality for the next two weeks. Use the hashtag #BizForBLM to encourage other companies to do the same.
We understand that businesses have been hit hard this year by COVID, but now is a critical time to support the movement to ensure freedom for all of us in the future.
